Votiva (FormaV)

The latest procedure for non-surgical vaginal rejuvenation, FormaV, harnesses the power of Votiva’s powerful non-ablative radiofrequency energy to treat both the internal and external female genitalia. By gently heating the targeted areas of the vaginal canal and the external labial tissues, FormaV can improve a number of conditions.

FormaV is used to address concerns with:

Technique

FormaV is performed in Bio-International office after a thorough consultation. The small FormaV probe will be used to deliver controlled gentle and comfortable heat through radiofrequency energy to the vagina and labia, causing tissue remodeling. The advantages of FormaV are that there is no downtime, no pain, and no anesthesia required. For vaginal tightening, labial tightening, and vaginal rejuvenation, there is a series of three treatments performed once per month for three months. Maintenance treatments are recommended to protect the investment once every 3-4 months.

What to Expect

Treatments typically last 10 minutes. Patients will feel a heating sensation during the treatment. While some patients may experience some slight discomfort during and immediately after the treatment, the majority experience no discomfort at all. Given that there is no downtime, patients may return to work immediately after the treatment and may resume normal activities, including intercourse, the same day. Results can be immediate with continued improvement in results over the following weeks. Individual results may vary.
